Cátia Brito é engenheira civil e especialista em HVAC, certificada pela Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos de Portugal, licenciada pelo Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, com mais de 20 anos de experiência, sendo 15 dedicados à eficiência energética dos edifícios e políticas de sustentabilidade. Desde 2017, integra a ADENE – Agência para a Energia, onde lidera a equipa técnica do Sistema de Certificação Energética (SCE), conduzindo projetos sobre a transposição da Diretiva Europeia de Desempenho Energético dos Edifícios (EPBD), desenvolvimento legislativo, qualificação de peritos e criação de conteúdos técnicos e formativos. Representa Portugal nas CA-EPBD e no comité europeu “Energy Performance of Buildings”, participando ativamente em fóruns e conferências internacionais.

Cátia Brito is a civil engineer and HVAC specialist, certified by the Portuguese Order of Technical Engineers, and graduated from the Lisbon Engineering School, with over 20 years of experience, 15 of which have been dedicated to building energy efficiency and sustainability policies. Since 2017, she has been part of ADENE – the Portuguese Energy Agency, where she leads the technical team of the Energy Certification System (SCE), managing projects on the transposition of the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), legislative development, expert qualification, and the creation of technical and training content. She represents Portugal in CA-EPBD and the European “Energy Performance of Buildings” committee, actively participating in technical forums and international conferences.
