Pedro Raposeiro da Silva is an Associate Professor (Professor Coordenador) of construction materials and construction technology at Lisbon School of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Lisbon, and a researcher member of CERIS – Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability (research group of studies on construction) from Instituto Superior Técnico, UL - University of Lisbon.
He received his PhD in Civil Engineering and his master’s in construction from Instituto Superior Técnico, UL - University of Lisbon and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Lisbon School of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Lisbon.
His research interests include self-compacting concrete, concrete microstructure and durability, sustainable construction (recycled aggregates in concrete and mortars) and construction technology. Author and reviewer of numerous publications in his area of interest, is currently the Civil Engineering Master Program Coordinator and responsible for the Construction Materials Laboratory at Lisbon School of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Lisbon.
