Pedro Raposeiro da Silva is an Assistant Professor (Professor Adjunto) of construction materials and construction technology at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, IPL- Lisbon Polytechnic Institute (ISEL - IPL) and a researcher member of CERIS - Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability (research group of studies on construction) from Instituto Superior Técnico, UL - University of Lisbon (IST - UL).

He received his PhD in Civil Engineering and his Master’s in Construction from IST - UL and has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ISEL - IPL.

His research interests include self-compacting concrete, concrete microstructure and durability, sustainable construction (recycled aggregates in concrete and mortars) and construction technology. Author and reviewer of numerous publications in his area of interest, is currently responsible for the Construction Materials Laboratory at ISEL – IPL.
