Miguel Luís received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, in 2009 and 2015, respectively.
He is an Adjunct Professor in the Electronics, Telecommunications and Computers Engineering Department teaching in courses related with Computer Networks, and a Researcher with Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT). He is the coordinator of two nationally funded projects and he contributes to several other research projects funded by the EU-UIA, FCT-MIT and P2020 programs, having published more than 60 scientific works, including 3 book chapters and 25 publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
His research interests include medium access control for wireless systems, routing and dissemination mechanisms for mobile networks and Internet of Things, and management, orchestration and softwarization of future networks.
