Transmission of specific concepts (theoretical and practical) in the field of railway infrastructure (Conventional and High-Speed) to allow its future integration of students in the labour market through the acquisition of specific skills in the following areas:
• The Railway as a Guided System;
• Project: Language and terminology associated with railway materials and equipment, Interconnection between Specialties, Layout Geometry in railway lines, Definition of Track Materials for the different types of Lines, Construction Phasing, Measurements and Budgets in the Trackside specialty;
• Construction and Supervision: Interpretation of railway line projects, Identification of the various materials to be applied as well as the different equipment to be used for their handling, methodologies associated with the maintenance of the railway track and Safety Regulations associated with the execution of railway works.
