Intended learning outcomes
  1. To understand the real functions of real variables.
  2. To master the concepts of differential calculus needed to study the real functions of real variables.
  3. To know how to approximate functions by polynomials.
  4. To use antiderivative methods.
  5. To understand and apply the notions of integral calculus and, in particular, the fundamental theorem of calculus.
  6. To determine the solution of separable differential equations and linear differential equations of 1st and 2nd order.
  7. To calculate the sum of a series and to know the convergence criteria.
  8. To know how to formulate a problem mathematically and to identify and implement strategies and tools appropriate to its analytical and / or computational resolution.
  9. To recognize the main concepts and techniques of differential and integral calculus in IR indifferent contexts.
  10. To possess analysis, calculation and deductive reasoning skills.
  11. To demonstrate critical and analytical thinking skills.
