Students who successfully complete this course unit will be able to:
- Define a terrestrial cellular and satellite communications system.
- Discuss and classify solutions at the level of coverage and capacity of cellular systems in general.
- Analyze and compare the applicability of the systems studied to services and applications.
- Know some fundamental propagation models for radio links in fixed and mobile networks.
- Provide bases for the design of mobile and satellite cellular communications systems networks.
