Intended learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course should be able to:
- Know a broad set of real functions and use them in engineering.
- Parametrize lines in 2D.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts of differential calculus applied to engineering. 4. Understand the concepts of integral calculus.
- Use integral calculus to solve engineering problems.
- Formulate and apply numerical integration methods to solve engineering problems.
- Know how to solve analytically and numerically ordinary differential equations used in the modeling of natural phenomena.
- Work with basic python programs.
- Solve exercises and seek help when you can not solve them.
- Have weekly study habits.
- Understand how mathematics is useful to solve real problems of a LEIM engineer.
