This seminar, held at the end of the 5th semester classes, begins the activity of mechanical design, namely, the choice of a product by the students and the specifications of the American market (USA) requirements for the product chosen by the approved student. These requirements are defined for all products in the technical documentation provided by IHS (Information Handling Services) and in complementary information provided by the faculty at the Seminar. This way, students will be able to make numerical calculations and simulations, as well as eventual experimentation, more appropriate to the international reality.
Definitions are recalled, such as Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanics, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Construction and Metallic Construction, Thermodynamics, Technology and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, Product Engineering and Process Engineering and Simultaneous Engineering.
Students who are available the most free time until the beginning of the new semester, are encouraged to make a complete definition of Product (Specification, List of Entities and Definition Drawings_assemblies, subassemblies and parts), according to international standards.
