This course aims the training in municipal infrastructures for water supply and wastewater and storm water drainage systems for populations up to 10,000 inhabitants, with the following learning objectives:

1. To identify and to interpret conceptual solutions of different hydraulic infrastructures relating them to physical and environmental conditions, socio‐ economic benefits and safety and operating requirements;
2. To develop the hydraulic sizing of water supply systems and urban wastewater and storm water drainage systems;
3. To develop economic studies of solutions;
4. To recognize the operational safety requirements of such systems and identify the necessary manoeuvring and safety equipment;
5. To identify the materials and accessory elements required for water supply and drainage systems construction and to know the applicable regulations.
