Intended learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- Know the lossless and lossy compression techniques, source and channel coding for radio and video broadcast;
- Evaluate the performance of a digital audio and video broadcast system;
- Understand the concept of intersymbol interference (ISI) and intercarrier interference (ICI);
- Design a digital broadcast network;
- Planning and implement a communication system based on OFDM modulation.
