Studying at ISEL
Studying at ISEL is studying at the oldest engineering school in the country, with more than 160 years of existence. But that doesn’t mean that ISEL is stuck in the past. Eyes deep into the future, engineering courses that never go out of style - like civil, chemical, electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering - live alongside with trending areas such as biomedicine, biochemistry, renewable energies and multimedia, now available both in undergraduate and master's degrees. Fully aligned with the applied philosophy of all ISEL’s degrees, the recent undergraduate degrees in Mathematics Applied to Technology and Business and in Municipal Management Technologies have further strengthened ISEL's connection to business, industries and society. One thing they all have in common: their remarkable employability rate. |
Studying at ISEL is studying at a school where the environment between students and the relationship between students and teachers is unique and where teaching is recognized as eminently practical and for that very reason valued by the job market. ISEL has classrooms, auditoriums and laboratories in constant modernization, a library and several spaces for study and leisure, canteen and bars, multi-sports fields and games room, a student residence and private parking. |
Studying at ISEL is studying on a spacious campus in a privileged area of Lisbon, 5 minutes away from Parque da Bela Vista, Parque das Nações and the airport, with bus and subway by the door. At ISEL, we are as close to the city center as we are from turning our backs to it and head to the beach or the countryside. |
