Students that successfully complete the curricular unit should be able to:

• Understand and design systems for acquisition and processing of optical signals;
• Utilize tools for storing, processing and visualization of optical signals, like LabView, MatLab and MyOpenLab;
• Utilize embedded platforms for processing and control of optical signals, like DSP platforms, Arduino and SoC FPGA;
• Integrate optical signal acquisition devices with proccesing platforms;
• Remote access to the processing plaforms.
