Intended learning outcomes
This curricular unit provide general understanding of pavements, specifically regarding, the pavement design and rehabilitation of road and highway pavements. This curricular unit will allow the student to acquire skills and competences for: (i) materials (naturais, recycled, cutting edge) selection and characterization, (ii) stresses and strains analysis in pavement structures due to loading from traffic and climate, (iii) structural pavement design and rehabilitation.
