Provide students with:

1. Knowledge of the concepts and recommendations for structural safety, rehabilitation and strengthening of old buildings with structure of masonry and / or wooden.
2. Skills in identifying the buildings typology
3. Skills in the study and definition of rehabilitation and structural reinforcement solutions to be adopted in buildings with a structure of stone masonry walls and wooden floors.
4. Skills in the study and definition of rehabilitation and structural reinforcement in old buildings, with a structure composed of stone masonry walls, ceramic brick or concrete blocks and concrete floors.
5. Skills in the area of structural systems in wood (classic and glued laminates).
