Nelson Nunes holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa of Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, graduated in Applied Chemistry – Organic Chemistry from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a phD in Chemistry – Specialty of Physical Chemistry from Faculdade de Ciências of Universidade de Lisboa
He is adjunct professor in the Chemical Engineering Departmental at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa where he usually teaches Curricular Units in the Analysis and Physical Chemistry division. His scientific interests fall on the study of solvents and mixtures, quantitative structure-property/activity relationships, and solute-solvent-solvent interactions.
He is also a member of CEEQ-Centro de Estudos de Engenharia Química of ISEL, CQE - Centro de Química Estrutural of Universidade de Lisboa and the Portuguese Chemistry Society.
