Pedro Ferreira took his first degree in Physica at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL) in 1992 and his Master's Degree, in High Energy Physics and Gravitation, at the same institution in 1995. He took his PhD in theoretical particle physic at the University of Liverpool between 1995 and 1998, and three post-docs afterwards, at the INFN in Genoa (1998-2000), DIAS in Dublin (2000-2001) and at the Centre for Teoretical and Computational Physics at FCUL (2001 to 2007). He is, since 2007, professor at Área Departamental de Física in Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, lecturing courses such as Mechanics, and Thermodinamics, Electromagnetism, Medical Physics and Nuclear Energy. He is also a researcher at CFTC in FCUL in particlephysics, studying the theoretical and phenomenological aspects of models with scalar sectors more general than that of the Standard Model.
