Requirements

The application is open to students who meet at least one of the following conditions:

• Holders of a master's degree or equivalent;
• Holders of a bachelor's degree with a particularly relevant academic or scientific curriculum recognized by the ISEL Scientific and Technical Council (CTC) as demonstrating the capacity to undertake the study program;

• Holders of an exceptional academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized by the ISEL CTC as demonstrating the capacity to undertake the study program.

   

Application process

• Candidates must apply for the available places in this competition on the ISEL application portal, within the indicated deadlines;
• Available places are filled according to the results of the selection and classification process;
• Application for places is only valid after payment of the respective fee^a), which is non-refundable. This payment must be made by the deadline defined for the application, and no application whose fee has been paid after this deadline will be considered;

Documents to be submitted

When completing the application, the following documents must be uploaded (PDF format, maximum file size - 4096 Kb):

• Citizen Card / Identity Card or equivalent document;
• Individual Taxpayer Registration – NIF;
• Proof of tax address issued by the tax and customs authority (Portal das Finanças) or equivalent;
• Updated Curriculum Vitae. Whenever the CV includes training courses, courses or other complementary training, these must be accompanied by copies of these certificates (mandatory document for application purposes);
• Certificate of completion of the master's degree or diploma, indicating the final grade and description of the curricular units (mandatory document for application purposes);
  Candidates who are not nationals of a Member State of the European Union and who fall under the exception regimes of the International Student application regime must submit the documentation for the application as applicable, in accordance with Decree-Law No. 62/2018, of August 6.
• Candidates who have legally resided in Portugal for more than two uninterrupted years as of January 1st of the current year, or candidates who, as of January 1st of the current year, are beneficiaries of the status of equality of rights and duties granted under an international treaty signed between the Portuguese State and the State of which they are nationals, must present a document issued by AIMA proving said condition.
• In the 1st and 2nd phases, candidates expecting to obtain the degree by the end of the stipulated enrollment period will be admitted for classification. To do so, they must submit the certificate of completion of the course they are attending and a declaration of honor in which they commit to delivering the final course certificate by the end of the stipulated enrollment period. This declaration does not exempt them from delivering the certificate due within the defined deadline.
• Proof of address from the tax office or equivalent.

Applications will be made exclusively online, through the ISEL website. Only applications with all the documentation and the application fee paid in accordance with the current fee table will be considered.

Vacancies

a) Vacancies remaining from the 1st phase, and in cases of withdrawal of students enrolled in previous phases, will be carried over to the subsequent phase.

Notes:

• Vacancies remaining from each phase will be carried over to the subsequent phase;
• The availability of vacancies in the 2nd phase is conditional on the result of the previous classification after analysis of any complaints;
• In case of total filling of the number of vacancies, the notice will present the following result for the classified candidates: Placed subject to vacancy release.

Results of the selection process and ranking of candidates

Note: Regarding the final result, interested parties may submit a duly justified complaint to the selection jury through the application portal, within the deadlines defined in the competition calendar: They must access the application portal with candidate authentication. In "view applications," select the desired application and continue, then select "register information request." To register an information request, fill in the summary and the justification in the description. If you wish to attach any supplementary supporting documentation, insert the attachment in PDF format in the registered request. The submitted request will remain pending until the jury's assessment.
After the complaints period, candidates can view the jury's response to their complaint by accessing their application (select "view application" and continue," select "information requests," and click on the "pencil" icon).

Note: Students admitted through the call for applications will be contacted by the Academic Management Service to formalize their enrollment in the study cycle to which they were admitted.
