Intended learning outcomes

Provide trainees with general notions of the management of municipal public organizations, political and administrative aspects, addressing the macroprocesses of municipal public administration from their typical functional areas. Provide generic knowledge on theories and management process.

Reinforce the knowledge about the competencies of municipal structures and their decision‐making process as well as the Local Finance regime, its general environment in Budget and Activity Planning. Introduce financial calculation as a management tool.

Create a critical mass on the specific aspects of Human Resources Management in the Municipal Public Administration in accordance with the legislation in force.

To present case studies on situations of success in the field of Innovation and Trends in the Management of Public Organizations and the use of Information Systems, which stimulate a creative spirit.
